How to use this page (tap to open)

This page is your compliance checklist for Tanzania. Every tax filing, fund payment, licence and secretarial task is listed with its authority, how often it is due, and its next due date.

  1. Check "Needs attention" first. The box below shows what is overdue or due soon and what to do.
  2. Open an item to see its authority (TRA, NSSF, BRELA, and so on) and due date.
  3. Do the filing on the authority portal (for TRA taxes use the TRA portal). File and pay by the due date.
  4. Attach the proof. Click Upload on the row and add the receipt or certificate (photo or PDF).
  5. Update the status using the dropdown on the row: Open (not done), Filed (done), Valid (licence in force), Expiring (renew soon), Overdue (past due).
  6. Ask the assistant at the bottom if you are unsure how to do any filing.

Quick reminders: VAT is due on the 20th of the following month. PAYE, SDL and withholding tax are due on the 7th. Always confirm current rates with the company's tax advisor. This page is guidance only, not tax advice.
