Work on the ground, not around it

We hire crews, geologists, operators and administrators across Tanzania, Sudan and Gambia — locally first, and trained rather than screened out.

What it is like

Small company. Real responsibility.

There is no layer of the company that is insulated from the site. Geologists log their own samples, managers visit the ground, and the people who built Najd Office are the people who answer the support line.

That suits some people and not others. If you want a narrow, well-defined role in a large organisation, this is the wrong company. If you want to see the whole of an operation and be accountable for a piece of it, it is a good one.

We hire locally as the default across all three countries, and we train. A candidate who is capable but under-qualified is a better hire than a qualified one who has to be persuaded to visit the site.

Local hiring as the default
Training provided, not assumed
Field rotation for office roles
Safety training before site access, always
Site safety briefing before a shift
