Request a service

One form for all four services and for a Najd Office demo. It asks for the things we need in order to give you a price rather than a conversation.

Request

Tell us about the work.

Everything below except the last field affects the price. The more of it you can answer, the closer the first number will be to the final one.

Every request is read by a person. If the service you have selected is not the right one for the problem you describe, we will say so — that has happened often enough to be worth mentioning.

What happens next
Within two working days — an acknowledgement from a named person, not an autoresponder.
Within a week — either a written scope and price, or the specific questions we need answered first.
Before mobilisation — a signed scope. Nothing moves on a verbal.
How we quote
Fixed fee against a written scope, or a day rate where ground conditions are unknown.
Mobilisation stated as a figure, not a percentage.
Assumptions listed, with what would change the number.
Third-party costs at cost, shown separately.
Confidentiality
Non-disclosure signed before any data room is opened.
Your data returned at the end of the engagement, whatever the outcome.
We take no interest in projects we are asked to review.
Questions

About requesting work.

How quickly can you mobilise?

From the Mbeya base, typically two to three weeks for equipment including permits and transport. Consultancy and desk work start faster; Sudan and Gambia depend on the border crossing and are quoted case by case.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. A written scope and price is free. Where producing a meaningful quote requires a site visit, the visit is quoted first and credited against the work if you proceed.

Can you tell us the service is unnecessary?

Yes, and we do. The most common example is a client requesting drilling when the existing data would not tell them anything more once they had it.

What if we are not ready to name the ground?

Give the district instead. It is enough to establish whether the work is something we do and roughly what it costs. Coordinates can follow under a non-disclosure agreement.
